Ben Affleck has been spotted without his wedding ring on multiple occasions in recent months, fueling rumors of marital troubles between him and Jennifer Lopez. However, the couple has not confirmed any plans for divorce or separation.
In May 2023, sources reported that Affleck had been staying at a separate home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and was moving his belongings out of the couple’s $60 million mansion. He was photographed without his ring on July 10 as he arrived at his office.
Despite this, Lopez has continued to wear her ring, including at events for her new movie Atlas and while celebrating July 4th in the Hamptons. A source told Entertainment Tonight in May that “Jen and Ben’s relationship is not over yet” and that Lopez remains committed to saving their marriage.
Another insider claimed Affleck fears a nasty divorce battle if he officially announces their split by removing his ring. However, the couple’s marriage problems are said to be due to “deeper issues” beyond their celebrity status.
As of late June 2024, the couple’s relationship status remains unclear. They have not made any public appearances together since March 30.
